Sprouts in your Smoothies:)

Spouts are on of the best ways to pack your foods with a nutrient rich punch.  I have always loved sprouts on toast with almond butter (my grade one teacher gave that to us for snack once (with peanut butter) and I fell in love.  Sprouts come in all sorts of flavours:  broccoli, pea shoots, alfalfa to name a few.  What is your favorite sprout??

Put sprouts in salads, sandwiches, soups, or blend them up into a smoothie like this one from Culinary Karma.  




1/2 cup sunflower sprouts

1 whole lime

1/2 cup coconut milk

1/2 avocado

drop of stevia

your favourite green powder
