Some people crave the sweet creaminess of chocolate...but myself, I am a salt craver. When I started taking a lot of the garbage foods out of my life, what I found was that I missed the savory and salty flavours the most and I had a really hard time finding a replacement for them. It is easy to curb a sweet craving by eating a piece of fruit or a bowl of oatmeal with real maple syrup on it, but how could I mimic the taste of a Dorito? There are so many ways to prepare a kale chip. Some people bake them in the oven on a low heat, raw foodies dehydrate them so they do not lose the vital enzymes. Some use simple flavours like salt and olive oil and others make cheesy flavoured goodness to coat them in. Whatever you flavour, you can make it into a kale chip!
